All prices are in USD, per month and per installation. Hosting and AI-provider usage are paid separately. Applicable taxes are additional.
14-day free trial
All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Payment details are required at signup. Your first subscription payment is charged after 14 days, followed by monthly billing. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Moon remains free with no time limit.
What is included
Every tier includes access to all features, including all applications, administration, single sign-on and proxy support.

What happens to Universe pricing after beta?
Universe is US$99 per month during public beta, starting with version 0.8.0. After beta, choose Galaxy for up to 100 people at US$99 per month, or Universe at US$300 per month. We’ll give you at least 60 days’ notice before beta pricing ends so you can choose your plan or cancel.
Is the free tier a trial?
No. It has no end date and nothing switches off. It is limited to three people who may sign in, and that is the only limit.
What counts as a person?
An active account that can sign in. Deactivated accounts do not count, and people who only view something you have published do not need an account at all.
Do I pay per installation or per person?
Per installation. The tier sets how many people may sign in to that installation.
What happens when we reach our plan’s limit?
New people can’t be given access, and deactivated accounts can’t be reactivated, until you deactivate another account or move to a larger plan. Everyone who already has access keeps it.
Does a paid plan need an internet connection?
Yes. The installation checks its licence with our payment provider over the internet. If it can’t reach the provider, the paid plan keeps working for seven days after the last successful check. After that, sign-in returns to the free limit of three people until a check succeeds again. The free plan never needs a connection.
What happens if the licence expires?
The software continues to run and your data remains yours. The paid plan keeps working for seven days after its last successful check. After that, sign-in returns to the free tier limit of three people until the licence is renewed. An administrator always keeps access, followed by anyone an administrator has given a seat, then the people who signed in most recently. Everyone else’s account and work are kept.
What happens if I move to a smaller plan?
Your current limit stays in place for seven days, so you can choose who keeps a seat. After that, the smaller plan’s limit applies.
Can I move my licence to a new server?
Yes. Deactivate the licence in Administration on the old installation, then activate it on the new one.
Is there a discount for education or non-profit use?
There is no separate discount. Education and non-profit organisations can use any plan, including Moon, which is free for up to three people, and the Universe public beta offer.
Can I move my data out?
Yes. The database is a standard PostgreSQL instance and uploaded files sit on your own storage. Documents export to PDF, Word and Markdown. Dashboards export to PDF and PNG, and their data to CSV and Excel. Charts export to PNG, SVG and PDF.
